About one in four teen girls last year got the groundbreaking vaccine that prevents cervical cancer, federal health officials reported Thursday.
I cannot believe that a country which basically outlaws corporal punishment (spankings) for children would think that leaving a baby in prison with their mother until they are two years old is a good idea.
Donald Trump doesn't know Ed McMahon personally, but he's decided to help the financially troubled entertainer out by buying his home and leasing it to McMahon.
Apparently you have no understanding of the basics of economics and how non-governmental jobs are created. Yesterday Freightliner announced that they were going to stop manufacturing a particular line of semi trucks in Portland, Oregon within the next year or so. That means that two of my dear friends will be losing their good family wage manufacturing jobs permanently and have to find other jobs, IF they can. When Obama says that he "only" wants to tax the folks making over $250,000 a year, he's bent on taxing the people who are running small businesses creating the jobs, the corporations in this country. Don't you get it? When you tax the company that employs the worker, you tax the worker too or you put them out of work. Are you really that naive? And taxing big corporations just means losing jobs on a grander scale. The rich are not going to change the percentage of their profit margin, they are just going to figure the tax costs into their budget and adjust their employment and cost ratios accordingly and resist pay raises for their employees. Meanwhile, the costs of operating the businesses will be passed on to all of us just like always. It's a bunch of crap to listen to any politician, Republican, Democrat, Independent or otherwise tell us that they are going to tax one group and grant tax relief to another. It's class warfare and stupidity. Use your brain or better yet, get an education so you can use your brain. At least McCain understands the principles of why cutting taxes benefits all of us and Obama understands it to, but he has a reason for speaking to the "poor" downtrodden left behind classes of voters....he wants your votes. And you are just naive enough to give your vote to him. As Charles Barkley has said (and he's voting for Obama), "the poor black people have been voting for Democrats every election and they are still poor." What does that tell you? I used to respect Charles Barkley, but I think he's lost his conservative sensibilities to be supporting Barack Obama in this election. He had it right when he finally figured out that the Republican party is all about getting government out of our hair and off our backs and letting all of us decide how best to spend our money and take care of ourselves. There is NO FREE LUNCH and there will not be FREE HEALTH CARE either. Think, think, think... if you can. It's not too late to come to your senses and at least keep the parties dividing the power in Washington DC. We CAN'T afford a Democrat as president along with a Democratic party controlling both the house and the senate. They will spend money with wild abandon over the next four years and likely create new big government programs that will turn our country into a socialist cess pool that we can all drown together in. I don't want that. I hope John McCain pulls this rabbit out of the hat and wins on November 4th.
That is such bologna. All McCain wants is the rich to get richer and the poor to get poorer. McCain's tax plans are only benefiting the CEO's ("rich") of companies, NOT the people that are struggling to make ends meet. What about the middle-class people who make up majority of the country?? Obama reaches out to his people because he knows what it is like to be poor and the struggles. If you haven't experienced that type of lifestyle (McCain) then don't talk. All McCain was doing was insulting, throwing low blows, and NOT answering questions. Obama on the other hand, broke everything down so people can understand CLEARLY the steps he is going to take to help the economy. McCain's answers were one big BLAH, that were confusing and made NO SENSE. McCain is going to follow Bush's footsteps so we can go into a deeper depression then what we already in, then America will be laughed at and humiliated even more. We minus well loose all our dignity and pride now if we put McCain in office.
